Hi there,

   I see you've stumbled upon my little monopolized portion of the internet, I hope you stay a bit. Here you will find the fabric of who I am transformed on a page for all to peruse and with any luck, relate.  I'm a lazy artist, novice writer, animal lover, light seeker,  world's 'okay-est' guitar player, forever barefoot  and an avid plant hoarder.  That about sums it up. My name is Alyson.

This year I became wife to a UPS driver, and with him came four kids to add to my already, one. Shortly after we welcomed our own little girl to the world, for a grand total of six kiddos. I know, we could form a small sports team. (shhh, that's the plan)  So this is me, navigating motherhood (again) and now the new challenge of step mother, trying to balance it all amongst the chaos of the world. Here is where I will spill the thoughts and findings of this new journey. I hope others can  relate and find solace in the pieces of my heart I turn into the words of this blog and if not, then at least a good recipe...
